Teide National Park is one of the best places to admire the sunset in Tenerife.
In 2013, Teide National Park was declared a Starlight Tourist Destination and
Starlight Reserve by the Starlight Foundation and since then the number of tourists interested in astronomy has grown, making Tenerife a popular destination for astronomers worldwide. The low light pollution inside Teide National Park (declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is what makes it the perfect place for stargazing in Tenerife, as here you're almost guaranteed great night sky conditions, which will allow you to observe varios stars and constellations.
Tenerife has a special law in place in order to protect these pristine star-watching conditions inside Teide National Park, by controlling the flight routes and limiting the light pollution inside the park.
At an altitude of 2000 meters, we will discover the constellations designed by our ancestors and their brightest stars.

This is a fantastic location for a breathtaking sunset view like you have never experienced before.
We will be standing next to volcano Pico Viejo and above the clouds admiring a stunning sunset view.
From here we also will be able to see the islands on the west of Tenerife. La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro.

Amazing, worth the money

Ozzi made the trip amazing from the moment we stepped on the coach. He was so warm and friendly. The trip itself was amazing, we started by stopping at the vineyard where we got do a wine tasting. We then moved on to watch the sunset over the mountain, which was amazing. Time was given to take photos of it and Ozzi was really helpful and willing to take photos. We then went to look at the stars in the night sky. Where Ozzi was extremely helpful in showing us how to use our to take photos. He knowledge of the island and star is amazing! I can highly recommend this trip.
Beautiful and Adventurous Experience

My husband and I made the mistake of not checking our emails the day of the excursion and ended up running from our hotel to catch the bus at our pick-up location! Thankfully, the AC in the bus was top-knotch and we were able to cool off and collect ourselves during the hour or so drive to pick up the other passengers. The entire bus was filled so I highly recommend booking in advance for this one! Our guide, Ozzy, was kind and funny and able to speak English, Spanish, Italian, German, and French without issue. Our first stop was at Bodega 1242 where we had a shared meal with the other passengers (we met a very kind couple from Ireland and another lovely woman from Germany) and got to enjoy some of the local wine. We ended up buying some wine and other goodies from the little shop prior to hopping back on the bus. Of note, this is the last real bathroom stop for the remainder of the excursion so plan accordingly! As we drove up to the Teide National Park, we watched the plants change from cacti to pine trees with the sunset flowing through them. We stopped the bus in the crater of the old volcano and got to take photos of the sunset at a scenic point. At this point, we were wishing we had brought a change of clothes as it was both chilly and windy. At our final stop, Ozzy educated us about the stars and galaxies and we got the opportunity to look through telescopes at the night sky. Again, my husband and I were not dressed for the occasion and spent a good hour or so in the bus while Ozzy continued with the remainder of our group. Overall, it was a beautiful and adventurous experience and I would highly recommend it to all age groups - just make sure to bring the proper attire!

As a party of eight we had a very personal experience that Ozzy arranged for us. He organised a meal and wine tasting for us at a vineyard which was amazing, food and wine were lovely. We even bought some wine. Managed to catch a beautiful sunset before heading up to do a bit of star gazing. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish, made especially great by Ozzy. Would highly recommend!
