Tenerife's Whale and Dolphin Watching Specialists. Join our Biologist Staff for a 2 hour thrilling eco-adventure to respectfully observe the whales and dolphins in the Teno-Rasca Marine Protected area of Tenerife. Our boat is a custom built 8 meter whale watching boat with cushioned bench seats for
only 10 guests.Â
These two hour whale watching tours depart at 9:30am, 12 noon and 2:30pm from our dock, 'Pantalan No3' in the Puerto Colón Marina in the south of Tenerife. This is an educational eco-adventure with the opportunity to listen to whales and dolphins with our hydrophone, includes photos of the marine wildlife and our Sightings Guarantee. They were really knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the animals and their well-being.
The boat was great too and the captain was careful to check if anyone was feeling seasick.
We saw two loggerhead turtles, a pod of dolphins and lots of pilot whales. Once the boatâs engine was switched off, some of the whales swam towards the boat and we saw them quite close up!
Captain Ion and Ăngela were both very knowledgeable and i learned so much during the trip, they are also very passionate and caring about the sea life and the importance of respecting every creature big or small and the area they live in and we actually removed some pieces of plastic from the ocean during the trip as every single bit removed can can count.
We saw several pods of Pilot Whales a Loggerhead Turtle and we were also very lucky to see a pod of Striped Dolphins, it was absolutely amazing to see each and every one of them and to learn about them too.
Another aspect that i really loved was that Ăngela took many photographs and sent the images to me, this meant that i really got to enjoy the experience in the moment without having to focus on taking pictures.
If you are trying to decide which Whale Watching Experience to book in Tenerife i can say without hestitation choose this one, it is simply incredible!!
We were lucky enough to see a loggerhead sea turtle, bottlenose dolphins and lots of pilot whales.
