Can’t recommend the experience enough. Booked through our hotel which made it super easy. Transport to and from the hotel included. We went out Thursday morning (28/11/19) with Bo. It’s great to see someone so happy and knowledgeable about his work, it’s obvious how much he cares about both the wildlife and your experience! He makes the trip both educational and fun. We had a great experience scuba diving with Zero Gravity. We were six; 16,19,22,23,48 and 49 year olds. One hadn´t scuba dived before. We all got a chance to try the equipment in hour hotel pool. The company has a good location in Puerto Colon, we received verbal instructions there and then there was a 15 min boat ride to the scuba diving spot. There were three instructors and they dived with three people at a time. The others could snorkle while waiting. The instructors regulated the air in your vest so diving was easy. We felt sorry for a couple with us who hadn´t suba dived before (and didn´t try it in a pool beforehand) who got uncomfortable and didn´t dive at all. We saw a lot of fish, an octopus..... no turtle. Very pretty and clear sea. Recommend the company but if you are nervous you should try the equipment in a pool first.
Virée en mer en zodiac puis on mouille l’ancre dans une petite crique pour une petite heure de snorkeling. Super moment en compagnie de Jérôme. Toute l’équipe est au top et très sympa !
The boat ride out to the snorkelling site was fun, we saw mainly fish but was still very cool experience. The only thing I would say is my partner and I found that between us one of the goggles kept misting up and one of the breathing tubes was faulty, so 50% of our equipment was poor, and there was no alternative equipment on the boat. Additionally, we went out at the same time with 4 people on a diving activity, so both instructors went off with the divers while leaving the snorkellers alone. It might have been nice if they actually gave you some attention and additionally if we got into trouble, they were busy underwater with the divers. So mixed experience, but enjoyed it none the less. The instructors were friendly and spoke good English though.
