Surfear con Surf Life Tenerife es una actividad extremadamente divertida, desarrollada por instructores de surf con licencia. Cambiarás y dejarás tus valores personales en nuestra tienda, ubicada a 100 metros de la playa. Caminarás con nuestros instructores hasta el lugar de surf y después de un poco de calentamiento, practicaremos técnicas específicas de surf en la playa. Nuestros instructores se sumergirán en el agua contigo y, según tu nivel: - no usarán una tabla, sino que llevarán aletas en los pies para empujarte hacia las olas y estabilizar tu tabla desde atrás si es necesario; - Surfearán a tu lado con su tabla si ya eres un surfista intermedio capaz de atrapar olas por tu cuenta. Al final de la lección, después de un poco de estiramiento, regresará a la tienda donde podrá tomar una ducha fresca.

9 Days Surf Camp

Me and my boyfriend did a surf camp here which took 9 lessons in a row. We highly enjoyed the time in this surf school and would recommend it 100%! Instructors are super friendly, can communicate fluently in English and are professionals in their field. Loved it! Thank you for everything guys!!

Great surfing lessons and VIBES

We had a blast in the water with Antonio, Bea and Angela as our instructors. Came as rookies for 9 days and got switched to the intermediate group fairly quick when they noticed improvements. It's a must-do on Tenerife! Pretty much anyone stood a few waves in the first lesson, they help pushing you into the wave. The struggle only really starts with bigger quicker waves but it is so worth it!!! Consider booking the hostel through them aswell (surf camp, Hostel La Tortuga). A photographer joins most lessons and takes proper pictures for you to check out right after, if you like some make a list by the end of your stay to purchase those for a quite fair price from him. Friends or family can just sit at the surf beach to watch you 200 meters from the school. Can absolutely recommend Surf Life.

The best surfing tool in Tenerife

Me and my girlfriend came to surf camp (staying in Hostel La Tortuga, surfing in Surf Life Tenerife). We stayed for 14 days out of which we had 10 days of surfing. It was amazing experience, great vibes, surfing not so crowded spot, intructors being really helpful with advice. Also, Antonio (the owner) and his sister Maria Luisa are beautiful, charming people that help you have enjoyable experience. We only had one beginner lesson and then went up with intermediates. Both groups follow the same structure for training: 30-40 minutes of warm up and practice on the shore and 2 hours of surfing. Next, I will break my experience in two parts. For beginners they help you grasp the fundamentals of surfing and help you practice in the white water. They explain the theory on the shore: how to paddle, how to standup, and ride forward without falling. Then, in the water you get to practice your new skills and instructors take care to position you well, explain the dangers of the surf spot etc. For intermediates, the theory part focuses more on how to read the waves, find best route to the break point, turning, priority in the waves, positioning yourself for take off. In the water, you together with instructor (which now will be on surfboard as well as opposed to beginner group) will paddle up to the break point or a bit to the side of it (depending on conditions). There you will try to catch green waves yourself while instructor will only help you with advice, push here and there, and positioning. All in all, I learned a lot and enjoyed my time a lot. I recommend this surf school and surf camp to everyone who is looking for safe, fun, and enjoyable surfing experience. Also, be prepared to meet instructors that you will never forget.

Cowabunga duuude

We had the best time with Surf Life Tenerife! Me and my friend were both first time surfers and the instructors were really helpful with the practical tips about the technique outside and inside the water. They were also mindful of our progress and allowed those that were improving to move to an intermediate group
