We were picked up promptly at 9:50 and was at the dockside by 10am. We departed the port by 10:15 and with half hour we came across our first pod of dolphins. The captain slowed the catamaran down to a crawl and we was able to see the dolphins quite happily going about their business. We managed to get within 10 foot without causing any distressed and they appeared to be happy with us watching/taking snaps etc. We spent around 10 mins before we left them go about their day and we carried on our trip out to the deeps where the pilot whales were again very visible and happy for us to ride along side them as they made their way to their destination. Again the captain was able to slow the engines right so we able to enjoy the experience.
Once done we made our way into a quiet cove where we were fed (taps) and also had a chance to have a swim and do snorkelling.

The most magical trip! We were lucky enough to see whales and dolphins, but we were really blown away by the service! Edmund (our guide) was fabulous, so helpful and welcoming. Delicious tapas lunch and wine too. Such a gorgeous day!

We have gone on many boats, my husbands family owns a boat back home. He however got sea sick but the crew on board was very accommodating (and prepared!) with him and other passengers who were sea sick. The waters were some of the roughest waters we had ever been on, so if you are prone to motion sickness, this tour or the rough Atlantic waters probably are not for you. Despite the sea sickness, we enjoyed seeing the pod of whales hanging around our boat, seeing the coast, and swimming in the cove (it was chilly though!) The tapas they provided were very tasty. The boat is large so there was plenty of room to spread out. The crew was very friendly.
