We had a great experience. Instructions were clear and understandable throughout the whole journey. We learned basics in the pool next door and then went on a boat ride to a diving place. This was a great first experience and made me want to do it again. On the other hand, my wife was feeling anxious and Rhian (our instructor) was very helpful and supportive. She didn't push her and made sure she is feeling safe. We both have a good experience and would definitely suggest this adventure. We only got one photo and no videos, despite having "Photos and video" in "What's included" section. Thank you, Rhian!
My boyfriend and I decided to try Scuba diving and it was the best decision to do it with Aqua Marina. Not only was Brianne an amazing and calming person we met first but she already told us we either love it and get addicted or we don’t like it at all. And we definitely got addicted and wanna get our licenses soon! We had the incredible Trainer Julian who explained everything perfectly and made our experience even more exciting. We got to go into the ocean and he tried to find us as many cool animals as possible! We are definitely continuing our Scuba Diving Journey!
What a fantastic experience. Friendly, patient and proffesional diving instructors made us feel very welcome, and took us through the experience with ease. We enjoyed it soo much that we cancelled our other activities the next day so we could continue our open water course. Would recommend this experience to anyone wanting thrills of the deep depths of the sea, we saw loads of fish even an octopus, turtle and ray! Special thanks to Brianne (sorry didnt ask for correct spelling) for making it such a memoriable experience, we have definetly got the diving bug and will continue our scuba journey.
This was the first time diving. I was really scared, but my instructor was so kind and patient. She told me that she wouldn’t let me do anything if I didn’t wanted to, but also motivated me to do it step by step. I’m so proud that I’ve done it. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Certainly not my last time! Thank you so much!
not having dived for a few years (me 12, my wife 30...) we decided to have a quick pool session to refresh, then boat dives (3 over 2 days) 1. the office / shop is well equipped clean and smart. It is next to a decent hotel pool they use for pool instruction. The rental gear is up to date and works very well. 2. they bus you down to Vistas / port to get onto a RIB to go out on boat dives. This all works pretty well. (Always good to go out on a RIB bouncing across the waves before diving in to make you feel like you're in the special forces.) 3. the staff are excellent. Friendly and well informed. Great English spoken by all. Very supportive, non judgemental and reassuring, esp for my wife who had not dived in 30 years 4. The dive was a revelation. I'm not sure what I was expecting given that this was not a tropical reef dive but on this morning's dive I saw octopus up close, stingray and eagle ray up close, 5-6 morays, cleaner shrimps, shoals of barracuda, to cap it all, turtles swimming right up to me while I was doing my safety stop. 5. the water is 21 degrees and this meant a 7mm wetsuit with optional hood. Dives range down to about 30m but can be a lot shallower depending on experience. Be in no doubt, we will be going back here and telling friends and family this is the go to dive shop for los Cristianos / Playa las Americas.
