Definitely worth the money

With a minor delay, we were picked up from the hotel and taken to Mount Teide National Park. We saw amazing scenery and were taken to excellent picturesque spots. Most of the trip was on the bus, which, in my opinion, wasn't that bad. We had some stops where we could admire the view and take photos. We had some bathroom stops along the way and were eventually taken to a sunset-watching spot. Afterward, we were taken to dinner, which was ok, nothing to complain about.

After dinner, we went stargazing, where our guide told us some fun and exciting information about constellations, stars, and other astronomy-related information. Initially, we observed the sky with the naked eye and then went on to observe Saturn, Jupiter, and Moon via a telescope.

Make sure to ask for bottled water if you want one; no one will hand it out voluntarily.
Wow wow wow Simply stunning

My wife and I have visited Teide on several occasions including a couple of trips (many year ago) to the vey top.
We booked this trip through TUI since not all operator pick up from Los Gigantes where we stayed and price was relatively comparable.
Initially was a little disappointed, it took 80 min to pick up everyone before the trip got started….I guess the price we payed for doing a trip which covered the whole south west of the island.
All I can say is it was well worth it. Our Guide, Danny was a local and was highly knowledgeable about the history and geology of the island. He parented many interesting facts and made the time fly by. After dark he turned into a “Sky at night” presenter and pointed out key stars, constellations and the “ band of cloud” that turns out to be our very own Milky Way.
Thank you Danny great job.
The star of the show was, however, the sunset with the glasses of well chilled Cava being a lovely touch.
Other highlights included stops to stretch our legs and explore plus viewing Jupiter and the rings of Saturn through a telescope
From previous reviews we weren’t expecting a great evening meal, however, I have to say I’ve had much worse on similar excursions and there were several clear plates around the table including my own … so not too shabby…. Just don’t expect Michelin Star quality
Excellent Tour highly recommended

Very good tour of Teide National Park. Excellent commentary on this amazing landscape and volcano. Several stops for viewing refreshments etc. Very good dinner after watching the sunset with a glass of champagne! Finally got to see the incredible sky at night with excellent commentary and laser pointing to various stars and planets and viewing through telescopes. Highly recommend this tour.
Great experience, well worth the money and the food was fine!

Great trip and unforgetable stargazing experience. The landscape is out of this world, so it was nice to get to see it at several locations before sunset.

The food was not exactly haute cuisine but totally fine as a filling meal. To be specific, it consists of a bowl of soup (starter), pork loin, fried potatoes, vegetables (main) and chocolate brownie (dessert). There was also a selection of drinks (Coke, Fanta, red wine, white wine, water) on each table. Sure, it was a bit basic but the food was all cooked well and served efficiently. Incidentally typical Canary Island cuisine is quite basic and filling so in that respect it was an authentic experience. I'm not sure what other reviewers were expecting but I did not book this trip for the gastronomy and so was totally satisfied with the meal. Also the guide Niko made requests for dietary requirements multiple times throughout the afternoon so that these could be accommodated.

One point of caution: as you can imagine, it gets quite cold on the mountain around sunset. So just take some warm clothes (eg fleece, windproof coat) and you'll be fine. The tour also provides blankets in abundance which is a nice touch. If it really gets too cold you can sit in the bus to watch the sunset.

I also want to say the tour guide Niko was great - informative, funny, highly organised, very accommodating. Likewise the driver Marcos did a great job. Overall I would give this tour 10/10.

Amazing evening/nighttime trip. The sunset views were stunning and our guide Daniel has an amazing knowledge of the cosmos. So fantastic to see the stars without light pollution. We also got to see Jupiter, Saturn and the moon via telescope. Possibly one of the best trips I’ve ever done and would definitely recommend.
