聖母の船は、クリストファー・コロンブスがアメリカを発見し、山の木材で作られたヨットでここを去ったヤシの船員を記念して建てられたサンタマリア号の複製です。内部は海軍博物館で、海図と島で製造されたこれらの船の複製が展示されています。
アメリカ大陸へのルート上でスペインで最も重要な城の 1 つであったサンタ カタリナ城。

Guide was really knowledgeable about the island and willing to share the information on current situation following the volcano eruption.
La Palma itself is really beautiful, much more than Tenerife, and while the trip was just a tip of an iceberg, it was enough to convince me to visit it again next time I'll come to the Canary Islands.
What a beautiful island, obviously currently suffering from the effects of the active volcano.
This trip was expertly organised and operated, and demonstrated the dramatic scenery of La Palma as well as the awesome and fascinating volcano activity.
