This was a fantastic trip. Everything ran like clockwork, from the pickup at precisely the right time and place, to a really engaging/informative tour guide, fantastic stop-offs and the truly epic landscapes of the Tiede volcano. Be sure to book the cable-car trip to the top of the volcano. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
We booked excursion with Jet2 so not sure if this company but local guide & driver.

We booked a half day excursion through Jet2 through the rep that came into the hotel, so I do not know if it was this company or not but it was a local guide and driver who took us. We did look at shops doing excursions and they were all about the same price (E28 per adult) so we booked through our rep. We could of added while on the excursion the cable car but he said they didnt do it as part because often because of winds or other bad weather they could not run and so it made it complicated to refund people, so the option would be to add it while on the excursion. This was what our guide told us and we had decided along with probably over half the bus not to bother with the cable car. The cable car is actually quite expensive. Anyway our guide had been in touch with the cable car people to ask if they were running as we would be on our way to there and he would then find out how many tickets were required and let them know (while we were travelling to our first stop for loo and refreshments and for views). He had been told yes that it was open and running and he could then sell tickets. So he announced this before we got off the bus and said he would be sat at a table for those wanting to buy tickets for the cable car to go and see him. So literally we had a 30 mins stop there and then just as we were about to set off he said that he had had a phone call saying that no the cable car was now not going to be running as it was too windy. So he had to give back the money he had taken from people. So this literally was within 30 mins of him being told it would be running to be told no sorry wind had picked up and so wouldnt. So maybe be aware of this if you havent been told. Anyway we continued on our journey and you get told various things and pointed out so much. We stopped a few time to get out to see things and take photos. We had the longest stop at basically quite some distance away but the base of Mount Teide where those that wanted to go on the cable car would of been taken to go to that. We had a walk with him further out showing us things then we had time to make our way back and go to the cafe and toilets and back on the bus. Very interesting tour and greats sights. Great guide and driver too. As I say dont know if it was this company because we booked with jet2 but it wasnt their guide and driver.

The National Park is a must for surveying breath taking landscapes and exploring unique features of a volcanic and natural vegetation site. The park contains a vast crater from which you can see the summits of the mounts around rise. It also contains an array of rock formations - including one that looks like the shape of a duck and different fauna/desert type flowers/wildlife. There are several trails some with steps and rocks for you to climb up/over to a point for beautiful views. For these you need hiking or trainers with solid grips. There are other trails on the straight too and these go on and on..... We went on a half day but only spent 1 15hrs on the Park. But you really need 3 - 4 hrs solid to appreciate the full features of this Park. When we return to Tenerife this will be a full day trip....
Teide is a must if you're in tenerife.

Brilliant. Breath taking scenery. Teide is a must if you're in tenerife. The only thing to note is that if it's too windy the cable car doesn't operate.
Just OK

Late and a bit disorganised on the day. Otherwise a worthwhile trip. Landscape is stunning and enough time to explore the area.
